League
Five round-robin matches against players selected for your group — top-half finish reaches the Premier League group phase.
Groups
Another five matches determine your route into Champions, Europa or Conference competition.
Eliminators
Double elimination — win two of three games to reach the quarter-finals.
Finals
The race to Finals Day is on. Single elimination decides the cups and the prizes.
Four sets.
Two hours.
Each match combines two American 8-Ball sets and two American 9-Ball sets. You earn one point for each set won, so every frame carries weight without taking over your whole evening.

What you need to know
Do I have to play the same night every week?
No. You nominate the nights that usually suit you, but matches can be rearranged directly with your opponent when work, family or plans change.
What Costs Are Involved?
Entry costs £25 and match fees are £10 per match (£8 for students).
Do I need a team?
No. APL is an individual competition, so you can register by yourself and meet opponents through the league.
Am I good enough?
If you see yourself as roughly a 3 to 8 out of 10, you should fit in. Players are grouped to create competitive matches against similar standards.
